Video Clips - Music

This is a music appreciation video clip rendezvous dedicated to those whose music pumps through their veins and pours out in song. A tribute to those that do what they love, and do it well in all forms of music. I can't say it better than this "quote" so here goes:

"For some, music is not just a pastime, it's an undeniable fact of living, a blissful slavery of mind, body, and soul. To rise above the ashes of mediocrity is rare, yet the gift of song is freely handed out to anyone who cares to receive it, instantly shattering our daily drudgery.

The path to pursue more than the usual, more than what is safe and known, is wrought with time-sharpened jagged blades that cut deep, blocking many from the road to something greater, beyond the stunted imagination of their peers.

Within the veins of the few, passion fills every sinew with a sweet unquenchable purpose, calming the fear of those treacherous paths. Though each slice burns and bleeds, still they take each cut and wear the scars with pride to signal their choice, that undying pursuit of greater joy within every chord.

And so they say--watch me bleed."

-Hanson

This is "Soulja Boy" but with Travis Barker playing drums for the remix. He's a pretty intense drummer and I just think this clip is awesome.

This is a marching band playing "Songs You Love to Hate" including "Mmmbop" by Hanson & "I Want it That Way" by Backstreet Boys. Pretty funny I think...

So good, it's freaky. This is a 3 year old from Denmark playing the drums and actually keeping beat with the bass. Definitely worth the watch.

Matisyahu doing a live beatbox. In case you don't know, Matisyahu is a Chasidic (Ultra-Orthodox) Jewish reggae rapper.

Cover of "Stairway to Heaven", gets pretty intense at the end. I can't believe the woman playing is actually drinking red wine and still hitting the notes.

7 year old boy playing a drum solo on some tv show. Not as impressive as the 3 year old playing I suppose, but it's a really good solo.
